It all begins with DNA

Welcome to the DNA Brewing Organization and Thank You for Your Support

We will update this blog frequently to bring you up to date on our latest brews made to support deserving causes.

Our first two brews, which were inspired by the January 12, 2010 earthquake that devastated Haiti, are currently in the works and will be available soon at a handful of fundraising events in the Bay Area.
An especially big thanks to the crew at San Francisco Brewcraft
(http://www.sanfranciscobrewcraft.com/) for their help on our first project.

Prince-of-Porters and Haiti Hopeweizen
Proceeds from fundraising events featuring our first two beers, Prince-of-Porters and Haiti Hopeweizen, will help support relief efforts in Haiti. The devastation in Haiti is still fresh and it is unclear where contributions will be needed most when our fundraiser events are held, but we are focusing our efforts on supporting organizations that provide clean water for the Carribean island country.

Prince-of-Porters, inspired by Haiti's capital city Port-au-Prince, is a deep, dark porter. Drinkers will enjoy hints of chocolate and brown sugar to balance this naturally bitter beer.

Haiti Hopeweizen is a traditional hefeweizen style beer. You will likely note a hint of honey in this golden brew. Do not be put off by the "chunky style" approach that we've taken with this concoction--the beer is alive with flavor from yeast, wheat and hope.
